Audi’s appeal for Tsunoda penalty is “straightforward”, says Bortoleto | Formula 1

Audi is set to appeal a decision made by the stewards concerning Yuki Tsunoda's actions during the Italian Grand Prix. The team believes that Tsunoda should have received a stop-and-go penalty for causing an extra formation lap by not properly lining up in his grid box.

Gabriel Bortoleto, representing Audi, stated that the rules clearly indicate that a driver causing an extra formation lap should start from the pit lane. Bortoleto is optimistic about the appeal's outcome, which would elevate him to 10th place in the race results.
