Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie are currently filming scenes for an Ocean's Eleven prequel in Monaco, with a storyline set during the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix. The production has transformed the famous street circuit back to the 1960s, featuring replica vintage Formula 1 cars and utilizing various iconic locations in Monaco over a five-day shoot from August 24 to August 28, 2026.

The film, directed by Cooper, explores the backstory of Danny Ocean's parents, played by him and Robbie. The project, currently titled Sandcastles, is set to be released on June 25, 2027, and includes a notable cast alongside Cooper and Robbie, such as Wagner Moura and Monica Barbaro. The 1962 Monaco Grand Prix itself was won by Bruce McLaren, adding historical significance to the film's setting.
