David Coulthard reveals offer that Jeremy Clarkson turned down
Image via PlanetF1David Coulthard, a former Formula 1 driver, revealed that he offered his London pub, The Brown Dog, to Jeremy Clarkson at no cost, but Clarkson declined the offer. Coulthard had invested in the pub in 2023, hoping to make it successful, but faced challenges in the business. He proposed that Clarkson could take over the pub and share profits if it became profitable, but Clarkson ultimately turned it down, citing the location's distance from his home as a factor.
Instead, Clarkson opened his own establishment, The Farmer's Dog, in Oxfordshire, which is linked to his television series, Clarkson's Farm. Despite Coulthard's efforts to revitalize The Brown Dog, it has not performed as well as he had hoped, leading to his decision to offer it to Clarkson in the first place.
