F1 Spanish GP introduces cashless payment system: How MAD-Coins work

The 2026 Spanish Grand Prix, set to occur at the new Madring circuit from September 11-13, will implement a cashless payment system known as MAD-Coins. Attendees will be required to use these coins instead of traditional cash or cards for transactions at food, beverage, and merchandise outlets during the event.

MAD-Coins are valued at €1 each and can be purchased in various packages, with a smart bracelet facilitating purchases. Fans can buy MAD-Coins online or at the venue, and any unused balance will be refunded after the event, excluding promotional coins.
