Ferrari voice key F1 concern over end-of-season doubt

Ferrari's team principal, Fred Vasseur, has raised concerns about the uncertainty regarding the final two races of the Formula 1 season due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi are in question, and F1's CEO, Stefano Domenicali, has indicated that a decision will not be made until at least mid-September, with potential delays into October. If these races are canceled, the season would end in Europe, likely at Imola, rather than Las Vegas.

Vasseur highlighted the need for teams to have clarity on the race schedule to manage their budgets effectively under the cost cap. He noted that logistical preparations must be finalized by September to ensure readiness for the Middle East events. Ferrari's next challenge is the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, scheduled for September 6.
