Lando Norris brands farcical F1 scenes 'horrible' as chaos erupts
Image via RacingNews365Lando Norris expressed his discontent with the chaotic scenes during the formation lap of the Bahrain Grand Prix, labelling them as 'horrible'. The race faced a 40-minute delay, with multiple drivers, including Lewis Hamilton and Esteban Ocon, experiencing issues that led to a suspension of the start sequence and the deployment of red flags for nearly an hour.
Despite the turmoil, Norris managed to race for points and finished ninth after a late scare involving his teammate Oscar Piastri. He highlighted that the incident was partly caused by George Russell's retirement, which led to sudden braking by other drivers. Norris reiterated his criticism of the electronic systems in the cars, suggesting they contributed to the farcical situation.
