Max Verstappen given vote of confidence to transform F1 season

Max Verstappen has been backed to have a strong performance in the second half of the F1 season despite a winless start. A recent poll indicates that nearly a quarter of respondents believe he will score the most points in the remaining races, although Kimi Antonelli leads the poll with over 30% support. Verstappen's goal is to avoid a winless season, which would mark the first time since his debut year in 2015 that he has not secured a victory.

The article also highlights the competitive landscape of the championship, with Lando Norris currently leading and other drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc receiving notable support in the poll. As the season progresses, the focus shifts to the upcoming Dutch Grand Prix, where Verstappen will aim to capitalize on his home advantage and prove his capabilities on the track.
