Max Verstappen hints at Zandvoort return in future driving plans suggestion
Image via PlanetF1Max Verstappen has indicated that he may return to race at Zandvoort outside of Formula 1, despite the Dutch Grand Prix being removed from the F1 calendar after the 2026 season. His popularity was a key factor in Zandvoort's return to F1 in 2021 after a long absence, but high costs led organizers to decide on their exit in 2024. Verstappen is looking forward to enjoying his home Grand Prix and engaging with fans one last time in the F1 context.
Lando Norris, who has also raced at Zandvoort, echoed Verstappen's sentiments about the circuit's departure from the calendar, reminiscing about the vibrant atmosphere and enthusiastic fans. Both drivers hope that Zandvoort may one day return to the F1 calendar, but for now, they plan to enjoy the remaining races and the continued use of the track for other racing events.
