Ugo Ugochukwu has been crowned the 2026 Formula 3 champion after securing a second-place finish in the final race at the Madring. He entered the race tied on points with rival Freddie Slater, who started in eighth position and finished where he began, allowing Ugochukwu to clinch the title.

In addition to his Formula 3 success, Ugochukwu also won the Formula Regional Oceania title earlier in the year. Tuukka Taponen claimed victory in the final race, which helped him secure third place in the overall championship standings.
