FIA makes decision on Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen Italian GP incident

The FIA has decided not to take any further action against Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen following an incident during the final practice session at the Italian Grand Prix. The two drivers were involved in a close racing situation, which resulted in Hamilton having to avoid a collision after Verstappen made a late-braking maneuver at the first chicane. Both drivers exchanged blame over team radio, but the stewards concluded that no penalties were necessary.

In addition to the Hamilton-Verstappen incident, there was another situation involving George Russell and Oscar Piastri, which also did not result in any penalties. Russell topped the practice session with a time of 1:22.219, followed by Hamilton and Verstappen, who finished second and third respectively.
