Driver decision 'within the next couple of weeks' – Komatsu

Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu has stated that the team will announce its driver line-up for 2027 within the next couple of weeks. Currently, no decision has been made regarding Esteban Ocon's future, who has expressed that he is a free agent for the upcoming season. Komatsu confirmed that they are still evaluating options and will discuss findings with Gene Haas before making a final decision.

In addition to Ocon, Ollie Bearman is likely to remain with the team, while several other candidates, including reigning Formula 2 champion Leonardo Fornaroli and F2 race winner Rafael Camara, have been assessed through recent tests. Komatsu highlighted the importance of selecting drivers who possess natural speed and can effectively integrate into the team, especially given Haas's smaller team dynamics.
