Lewis Hamilton launches ‘no filter’ rant over below-par F1 circuits
Image via PlanetF1Lewis Hamilton openly criticised the design of some current Formula 1 tracks during a fan event in Baku, expressing frustration over their inability to facilitate overtaking. He specifically referenced the Madring, which hosted its first race in September and was heavily panned for its lack of competitive racing opportunities, with only four overtakes recorded during the event.
During the event, Hamilton did not hold back his opinions, suggesting that many people could design better tracks than those currently in use. He finished sixth in the recent Azerbaijan Grand Prix, two positions behind his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc, and admitted to feeling out of contention in the race. Hamilton currently sits third in the Drivers' standings, significantly trailing the championship leader.
