Pirelli confirms tyre compounds for Dutch, Italian and Spanish Grands Prix

Pirelli has announced the tyre compounds for the upcoming Dutch, Italian, and Spanish Grands Prix in the 2026 Formula 1 season. At Zandvoort, the C2, C3, and C4 compounds will be used, while Monza will feature the softest compounds, C3, C4, and C5. The new street circuit in Madrid, known as Madring, will utilize the medium range of compounds, C2, C3, and C4, following simulations based on its unique characteristics.

The Zandvoort circuit presents challenges with its combination of medium and low-speed corners, while Monza's configuration necessitates low-downforce setups. The Spanish Grand Prix will introduce a circuit with significant elevation changes and the longest banked corner in Formula 1. Pirelli believes the selected compounds will encourage strategic racing, particularly in Madrid, where managing tyre degradation will be crucial.
