Haas F1 boss Ayao Komatsu gets behind wheel of historic F1 car ahead of Italian GP
Haas F1 team principal Ayao Komatsu recently drove a historic 1990 Footwork Arrows A11B car in preparation for the Italian Grand Prix. This car, which was part of the 1990 F1 season, was notable for its single point-scoring finish, achieved by driver Alex Caffi at the Monaco Grand Prix. As the team approaches the 13th round of the 2026 season, they are looking to improve their performance after a challenging start. Despite scoring points in five of the first six races, Haas has struggled recently and aims to maximize their practice time and evaluate new upgrades to enhance their competitiveness.
