Valtteri Bottas theory emerges after Cadillac ‘got a bit confused’ in Azerbaijan GP DNF

Valtteri Bottas has called for an investigation into Cadillac's systems following an incident at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix that led to his retirement. He speculated that the car's systems may have become confused after he locked up and ran wide at Turn 1, contributing to his crash at Turn 15. Despite being investigated for staying near his stricken car, the FIA stewards decided not to take further action against him.

Bottas has faced ongoing challenges with the MAC-26 chassis, particularly with brake performance, and has retired from seven races this season. He anticipates that the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix will present additional difficulties, especially regarding tyre overheating and high-speed corner performance, which have been weaknesses for Cadillac this year.
