Ferrari launch 'thorough' investigation into Lewis Hamilton brake failure
Image via RacingNews365Ferrari has initiated a comprehensive investigation into the brake failure that led to Lewis Hamilton's retirement during the Spanish Grand Prix. Hamilton, who had qualified in fourth position, experienced a malfunction with the brake pedal that caused him to lose control and brush against a barrier after just six laps, ending his streak of scoring points in every race this season.
Despite the setback for Hamilton, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc managed to secure a fourth-place finish, maintaining a competitive pace throughout the race. Vasseur explained that the team had attempted to address the brake issue from the pit wall but were ultimately unsuccessful. As the season progresses, Hamilton holds third place in the drivers' standings, while Leclerc is in fifth.
