Jacques Villeneuve sees Kimi Antonelli’s ‘significant’ issue for an F1 title fight vs Max Verstappen

Jacques Villeneuve has expressed concerns regarding Kimi Antonelli's ability to compete for the Formula 1 drivers' title against Max Verstappen, citing a 'significant' error rate. Antonelli currently leads the championship with 320 points, while his Mercedes teammate George Russell is 84 points behind and facing a grid penalty for the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix.

Despite Antonelli's impressive eight wins this season, Villeneuve points out that mistakes could hinder his title chances if he were to face Verstappen. The Red Bull driver, who recently won the Bahrain Grand Prix, has struggled this season but is now showing signs of improvement. Villeneuve believes that Verstappen's consistency and precision could give him an advantage in a potential title battle.
