Lawson issues telling F1 future response as 2027 decision looms

Liam Lawson has not yet been confirmed for the 2027 Formula 1 season with Racing Bulls. After a strong performance at the Singapore Grand Prix, where he secured a double-points finish, Lawson was asked about his future and responded with uncertainty, indicating that he is focused on scoring points rather than speculation about his seat.

Racing Bulls team principal Alan Permane noted that the team is not in a rush to make a decision regarding their driver line-up for 2027. With Lawson and teammate Arvid Lindblad both performing well, the team faces a challenging decision as they also consider rising star Nikola Tsolov from Formula 2. Permane emphasised the importance of selecting the right pairing for the upcoming season.
