Red Bull set clear goals for rest of F1 season
Image via RacingNews365Red Bull Racing has set clear objectives for the remainder of the 2026 Formula 1 season, focusing on transforming the RB22 into a competitive race-winning car. Despite a challenging first half of the season, where they have not yet secured a victory, the team remains determined to improve performance and avoid a winless year, which would be a first since 2015. Technical director Pierre Waché emphasized the importance of a development plan that extends through the end of the season, addressing various issues that have hindered the car's performance, including reliability and balance problems.
The team is currently positioned as the fourth-fastest in the championship, trailing behind Mercedes, Ferrari, and McLaren. Waché acknowledged the challenges posed by the new regulations but expressed confidence in their ability to enhance the car's capabilities. With Verstappen and teammate Isack Hadjar both aiming for victories, Red Bull is committed to maximizing their potential and returning to the podium before the season concludes.
