Podium
The podium is the top three finishers, and the ceremony they take part in afterwards.
"A podium" used as a countable noun means a top-three finish, which is why a driver's record lists podiums alongside wins — it is the standard measure of consistent front-running.
The ceremony has its own conventions: national anthems for the winner and the winning constructor, trophies presented to the drivers and one to a team representative, and the champagne — sometimes replaced, at races in countries where alcohol is restricted.
