Setup

There is no correct answer, only trades. Wing bought for the corners is paid for on the straights; a stiff car that rides kerbs badly may be quicker everywhere else.

Practice exists largely to find it, and parc fermé exists to stop it changing between qualifying and the race. Two drivers in identical cars frequently run different setups, which is a large part of why comparing them is not straightforward.
