Brake bias
Brake bias is the front-to-rear split of braking force, adjustable by the driver from the steering wheel mid-lap.
Move it forward and the car is stable but more likely to lock a front wheel; move it rearward and it turns in better at the risk of the back stepping out.
Drivers change it constantly — corner to corner, and as the fuel load drops through a race. It is one of the few setup parameters that is not frozen by parc fermé, because it is a control rather than a component.
