In qualifying, Leclerc secured the fifth-fastest time but expressed concerns that using an older power unit specification may have hindered his performance. He noted that he lost significant time in the first sector of his lap, which he plans to analyze further. Despite the challenges, Leclerc maintained that his lap was clean overall.
