Horner clarifies Ferrari ‘dream job’ comments after speculation over Vasseur

Christian Horner has clarified his earlier comments about the Ferrari team principal position, stating they were misinterpreted. He referred to Ferrari as a 'dream job' but emphasized that he was not expressing a desire to replace Fred Vasseur, who currently leads the team and is under scrutiny for its performance.

Horner acknowledged the pressure of running a competitive team and praised Vasseur's experience. He also mentioned that any future role in Formula 1 would need to include an ownership stake, which complicates a potential move to Ferrari due to its ownership structure. For now, Horner is content to wait for the right opportunity rather than rushing back into the sport.
