Lando Norris and Andrea Stella agree about McLaren after Oscar Piastri struggled at Spanish GP

Lando Norris achieved pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix, delivering one of his best laps despite acknowledging that McLaren's car performance was not at the level of its competitors. He managed to improve significantly in Q3, finishing ahead of Kimi Antonelli by just a hundredth of a second, even after making a mistake in the final corner.

Meanwhile, Oscar Piastri faced challenges during qualifying, finishing seventh and struggling to find rhythm after pre-qualifying adjustments. Team principal Andrea Stella noted the car's difficulties at low speeds, which contributed to Piastri's performance, while Norris's exceptional lap helped mask some of the car's limitations.
