Ferrari's team principal, Fred Vasseur, has shared encouraging news regarding the team's development plans, indicating that significant work being done this season will benefit their 2027 car. Despite Ferrari's recent struggles, including failing to secure a podium in the last four races, Vasseur remains optimistic about the potential for improvement and insists that the team is still focused on upgrades for the current year.

Vasseur emphasized that 80% of the development work for the 2026 season will be applicable to the 2027 project, which aligns with next year's regulations. He acknowledged the need for better qualifying performances to enhance their race results, stating that while the race pace is satisfactory, qualifying improvements are essential for a strong finish to the season.
